YFC New York City is a Launch Chapter under Youth For Christ USA.
Thank you for your heart for kids in tough circumstances and for standing with YFC in our calling to reach youth across New York City with the hope and love of Jesus. We are excited to be leading expanded efforts to reach more kids through our Juvenile Justice Ministry and our new City Life Cohort initiative.
Our Juvenile Justice Ministry seeks to engage young people as they are met in a variety of juvenile institutions and detention centers, probation, correctional facilities, group homes, residential treatment centers, and emergency shelters. These valued relationships are sustained through ongoing involvement as youth re-enter their communities through our after-care mentoring program.
In addition, our City Life Cohort is a training and mentorship program designed to equip and empower youth leaders from local churches and organizations. This initiative strengthens youth ministries that reach unchurched kids, build long-term discipleship relationships, and inspire a movement of leadership and hope in neighborhoods across NYC.
There is much to do, but we believe that by working together we can expand our reach and service to young people in significant ways. Thank you for your faithful monthly and one-time gifts. They play an essential role in helping us grow these ministries and give life to every story.
